Reclaiming Your Sacred S*xual Energy
It’s ancestral too.
There I was surrounded by green landscapes, hot air, buzzing insects. In an open space yoga studio. Womb Wellness class in full swing - ah, Bali.
Suddenly in her introduction, the beautiful teacher spoke these words:
“I am the first woman to not have an arranged marriage in my lineage.”
This was not what I was expecting to be today’s activation. I thought:
“Omg, that’s me. Is that me?!”
It felt huge. Like the realisation of a heavy weight, simultaneously a sigh of:
“Thank f*cking god!”
I am neither for nor against arranged marriage. Or marriage as a whole. I am majorly for Divine Love and the Sacred Union of souls.

Personally, reclaiming my s€xual energy is also a part of breaking through ancestral traumas. This is not to say that everyone in my lineage experienced negativity in romantic/s€xual relationships. It is to say that, culturally, there has been a lineage of women’s voices shunned/suppressed/denied.
S€xual energy is your energy of liberation, of self expression, of fun. For me, reclaiming my s€xual energy has been untangling the deeply entangled roots of every experience of mine connected to my embodiment/expression/entitlement of my own s€xual energy, as well as unraveling heavy ancestral storylines.
When I talk of s€xual energy I am not only talking about s€x. I am talking to every practice connected to the cultivation, release and continuous cycling of this Sacred energy. For example, through creation, through abundance, through self expression. Much heavy and deeply embedded wounding has been worked through. This is cultural, generational, lifetimes of bricks that once lay at the very bottom of the ocean bed.
You may not always know or even remember the exact story, however, your cells carry the aftermath. Both your physical and spiritual DNA are shaped. Which means you have it within you to reshape this too.
It is incredible how someone can unconsciously fall into patterns of conditioning, especially when they have no examples to look to of breaking through the shackles. Too “easy” to fall into accepting life exists within the confines of the cage when you have no idea there is existence outside the bars or that you are wired into believing whatever lays outside is only danger to be avoided.
To have exposure to the breakthroughs is a privilege and even a responsibility to uphold. For all those generations gone before and for all those to come. If you are a future ancestor currently weaving the story that will once be passed on, how do you want to capture that story?
Investing in my softness, treating myself with tenderness has all required strength. Within this softness has been shadows, monsters, ghosts. That’s what it truly means to be soft. It is to face one’s own demons and remove the armour of false protection. To channel the soul you go through ego. To reach the Divinity of self you journey through the underworld of self.
To reclaim my Sacred s€xual energy is to reclaim my innocence, my wild, my Holy. An energy from which life itself is created. An energy which is a gift from Divine.
Your s€xual energy is your energy of freedom. Through every unique and personal experience of yours, do not allow this powerful energy to be weaponised against you. Reclaim it.
