Lovers are not The Lovers for the sake of it. They are The Lovers because the passion of their hearts is willing to burn it all to the ground in the name of Divine Love. The Lovers are called on to be earthly examples of Sacred Hearts in motion.
Their sacrifice was made before they entered the earthly realm. They agreed for their hearts to burn in the name of Divine Love. They parted only to spend lifetimes searching for their soul, each other. They found it. They met and the Divine Light did not ever go out. They realised they had been living in each other’s hearts the entire time.
